Results of COVID-19 testing beginning March 1st, 2020.

This graphs displays data from March 1st of 2020 through the most recent data shown of daily positive COVID-19 tests. As you can see, there have been several spikes in positive results throughout the past year. The biggest spike is shown towards the later end of 2020 and beginning of 2021. Since this is during the Fall and Wintertime, it makes sense to see such a big spike of positive test results.

After that, positive results dip down to lower levels comparable to what is seen in 2020. During this part of the year, vaccine rollout has almost begun and one small spike emerges. However, once that peaks, results dip down to the lowest levels seen since the beginning of the pandemic. This means that the efforts by the government to vaccinate the general population has been effective in slowing down the spread of COVID-19.
